Alpha Kappa Lambda was founded both to develop a brotherhood guided by five ideals: Judeo-Christian principles, leadership, scholarship, loyalty, and self-support and to share a lifelong commitment to Alpha Kappa Lambda. The men who honorably are members of the Beta Psi Chapter are dedicated to assuming leadership roles in meeting the challenges and responsibilities of life. The spirit of Alpha Kappa Lambda bonds those of many backgrounds, financial conditions, and private religious beliefs.

We are the longest standing chapter on the MSU campus.

The Beta Psi Chapter became a colony on March 10, 1991 with the help of an Alpha Kappa Lambda transfer Chris Jones. He gathered together a group of men to discuss the founding of a new fraternity on the campus of Missouri State. A year and a half later on September 12, 1992, Alpha Kappa Lambda – Beta Psi received their charter and officially became a fraternity at Missouri State.

Since our local founding date of September 22, 1992 Alpha Kappa Lambda has grown in brotherhood, achievements, and value. Although we are a large organization we are all proud to say that we have the closest brotherhood amongst one another that any of us could have ever imagined.

After graduation, our Alumni, ready to take on the challenges of the world, spread out. We have Beta Psi alumni in several states. (Some alumni are probably near you). Many who travel back to meet up with friends at Missouri State homecoming and Chapter events.

The goal of this site is to help maintain that Brotherhood.
